sitting here thinking

I was just sitting here looking at my compairision photos. I just can't believe how big I let myself get. I always said if I were to get to 300 pounds I would just stop eating or something and go dirastic on weight loss. I was 7 1/2 pounds away from that, but just looking at my face and arms and legs. uhhh makes me sick. I wonder why someone just didnt come up to me and say "erin your getting a little out of hand." I guess i just didnt see that I was THAT big.... BUT never again!!
On my second note, when someone asks what kind of diet I am doing, I tell them that I had the band done and I always get that look that oh, so shes not dieting... I always feel like I have to explain that just because I have the band doesnt mean that im not doing any of the work. I still have to go to the gym 1 1/2-2 hours a day 6 days a week, I still have to eat only healthy food, and watch my calories and carbs, and protien. I feel like I have to explain that the only thing the band does is make me eat lower portions sizes, back to what we are SUPPOSED to eat. It stops me from over eating.
Someone also asked me how I could put all these pictures and my weights on the internet. The way I look at it is, It gives me motivation. I know all of you out there are watching me and expecting something from me. If I just quit or gain it all back, I would feel like im not only letting myself down, but you too. does that make since. ok. im going to quit, I just had to get some things off my chest.

Im lacking I Know



I have been slacking on my picture taking job. oops. But I did it today after I came home from the gym. So today is 3 months since I started my low carb diet. I only lost 1-3 pounds before I started my liquid protein diet on December 23rd.

ok....

So, I dont get it. I lose then I gain about 1-2 pounds over 2 days or so, then for the next day or 2 I stay at the same weight then I loose again. Repeat... uhhhh!!!!!! This is getting so agervating. and im still not losing clothing sizes either. only gone down 1 size. my jeans are REALLY lost but the next size down is to small...

I started using the cross trainer. It doesnt hurt my knees like the eliptical does, but I can go faster than on the treadmill and im not board like the treadmill. I have been watching bandedwendy youtube videos and tell myself I wont stop till she stops talking... haha. GO WENDY!! sunday night was the first time I did it and did 20 minutes today I did it for 40 minutes and went 2.79 miles. WOO HOO!!! Love it!

This one I got from bandedwendy. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!


This one would be good on a bed of brown rice with some teriaki sauce. That is how the frozen meal thing was, but I edited it around a bit. yummm!

Mushroom Pizza  174.5 Cals  11.1 Protein



Egg White Omlet w/ turkey sausage and FF sprinkle cheddar cheese
118 cals 21.2 protein
Also do goat cheeses instead of cheddar which is 150 cals 16.5 protein

Most the time I only eat 1/2, sometimes more.

update. . . .

ok. so it has been a while. I know. sorry. So as of yesterday I have lost 40.2 pounds!! It has been a little less than 2 months since my surgery. Still not really changing clothing size since the first time. Dont get it. The past few days I just havent felt like exercising. I do plan on going tonight because I know I need to. So, the other day i tried on a pair of tall boots. And for the first time since ever I was able to fit into them!!!

Dr appt yesterday

So, Yesterday I had my 1 week follow up appt from my galbladder surgery. Since I was already there he went ahead and did an adjustment on my band. So now I dont see him for another 4-6 weeks instead of in 2 weeks. So today I met my mini goal #2!! 6 days early. I have a new goal set to lose 20 pounds by 4/12/11. Some NSV (non scale victories) I have achieved. I can now walk in my heals alot longer without them hurting my feet!! I also ran on the treadmill at the gym for 7 minutes. I know that isnt long, but that is alot for me. Also I no longer have to bend over to see the scale. I just look down!! I also as of today have a BMI of 39.7 I am now officially out of the 40s!!! yay!!!

Been a while

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated. umm where to start. I guess monday 1/31/11 I had my galbladder removed. That was fun!! Friday morning I finally woke up and was able to function. YAY!! so now Im back to the gym!! hated not exercising. This is week 9 of my diet and it has been 5 weeks since my surgery, I am down 36 pounds and 12.45 inches!! only 1.8 pounds to lose till I meet a mini goal. I gave myself until 2/14. I am pretty sure I will do it! Last night I went to the LoCal Cafe in Bethalto, love it!! i got a protien pancake for breakfast this morning. pretty good. I need to pick up some protein powder to start adding to a meal or 2 a day incase I dont get all my protein in a day. if anyone has any question please do not hesitate to ask.
