First Walk

Went for a walk earlier. First walk since my surgery. 1.4 miles YAY!

It's day 3 after surgery. I'm still pretty sore. Keep doing stuff around house and with kids and overdoing it but I just can't stop. I had 4-5 bags of fluid in hospital so I am waiting to lose all of that water weight to start weighing myself again. As of today I am 2 pounds away from pre surgery weight. I gained 6 pounds in hospital. And have been losing 2 pounds a day so hopefully tomorrow I'll be back to normal.

Hi, We just got home a bit ago. Surgery went really well. I am in quite a bit of pain. They tried several pain meds and none have worked on me. (morphine, vikoden, one other cant remember name)I didn't meet my weight loss goal of 22 pounds by surgery. I did lose 20 though. My next goal is to lose 17 pounds by valentines day. Dont know how realistic that is but i am going to try. I have my follow up appt with the surgeon on Monday Jan 3rd. Ill update soon.

Tomorrow is the Big day!

So, hope everyone reading had a good Christmas. I think we need a new addition to the house for all the toys we got!! It wasnt to difficult to resist all the good food. Thought it would be harder. Anyways tomorrow I go in for my surgery. I have to be there at 9:30 for a noon surgery. Ill update tomorrow evening or tues morning. I had a weight loss goal of 22 pounds down by tomorrow. But the past 2 days I have not been losing much. Yesterday was only 1 pound and today was only 2 ounces. uhhh as of today I am down 19 pounds. Ill weigh myself in the morning and see. doubt ill lose the 3 pounds tomorrow the way I have been losing the past few days.

Day 15 of diet

I am getting to the point of being extremely hungry but food is nausiating. I have lost 15 pounds in 15 days. I lost 3 pounds yesterday and 2 more today!! On my counter page you can see how much overall I have lost, how much to my individual goals, a weight loss graph, and how long I have been dieting. I will do pictures again today in a little bit and add them on this post and on the picture page. I am also down a pant size!! YAY!! 5 days to go!!

Uhh What a day!

Today I had to do all my preop testing and my neutrition testing. It is one week until my surgery. I added a new page to the blog to keep my weight loss counters on. Look just about the posts. I will add another one tomorrow with pictures. I weighed myself on the surgeons scale today and their scale matches my new one so I am down 12 pounds! Not 22 but still a loss. On a Great note, My friends Brian and Michelle had their baby today!!!! WELCOME NICHOLAS! He is sooooo cute!!

confusion????

I don't know what to believe. My old regular old scale says I have lost 22 pounds. My new scale that I bought last night (digital) says I have only lost 4.... it also keeps jumping around throughtout the day. I understand weight varies through the day but that is normally 1-2 pounds. not 4. I put joshua on both scales and they both say 36 pounds. But they are completely different with me. What do I believe? I will see what the scale at the surgeon's office says monday. That will be 2 weeks down. (start of week 3)
